Taylor swift was born on December the 14th 1989. She was born in Pennsylvania. Her full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor can play the guitar, banjo, piano, ukulele and electric guitar. Taylor Swift is one of country music's top recording artists, having crossed over into pop and winning many awards. Taylor started writing her own songs and learning guitar at the age of 12. Her inspiration to singing was her grandmother because her grandmother was an opera singing so Taylor wanted to follow her steps and become a singer too.

At 11-years-old Taylor won a local talent competition singing LeAnn Rimes' "Big Deal". Taylor has one younger brother and his name is Austin.

Swift has won many awards. They are 7 Grammy Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 6 Country Music Association Awards.
