Digital footprints: Cyber safety

Digital footprints

When you comment on someone’s work you have to give good advice and most importantly you have to give positive comments. Don’t put personal photo’s of yourself online because anyone can see that photo of you. When people see it they can also take a screenshot of it and put on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, pinterest, Instagram and many more. Sometimes they can even hack into it and you won’t even know.

When posting something on social media you need to understand that it is something that the whole world can see. It won’t just be seen by you, family or even friends, but it will also be seen by the world. If someone gave you a negative comment on your work on Facebook, don’t reply something negative back because the whole world can see what you write on Facebook and it goes viral.

Not only on Facebook they can see what you can write about but also on other social medias. When you are posting make sure that you don’t post a silly photo of you because that can be seen by many people and they can do something about that photo without you even knowing about it. Posting is very important because there are certain things that you have to post such as your education (learning), apps that you use and many more. The things that you can’t post is, photos of yourself, your full name, anything personal about you and other silly things.

So just remember, when you post something make sure that it is appropriate and also when commenting make sure that you give positive comments and not negative. When giving advice make sure that it is also very positive because anything that you write will be seen all over the world (going viral).
