My name is Rachel Williamson and I am working with Megan and Cia this year on the Summer Learning Journey programme. It is great to see that you have used Tinkercard to design your hotel and have provided us with two different angles so that we can get a good sense of the lay-out and design. It looks to me as though the hotel room will have two single beds and a cupboard for storing clothes. Will the room also have some features like a television? I would imagine that tourists may appreciate having something to read or watch when they get back to their room after a long day of sightseeing and want to relax!
I actually moved to New Zealand about eight years ago and there are still so many touristy things that I would like to see and do. If you could be a tourist in New Zealand, where would you like to go? What would you like to see? I am still hoping to get out on a whale watching boat one day. I think that whales are such incredible animals and I would love to see one up close.
I can see that you have been really busy with the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) already this week. I can't wait to read more of your work over the coming days. Keep up the awesome effort!
