Philippines is in Southeast Asia which is in the Western Pacific. It comprises of more than 7,000 islands. The population is about 98.39 million. The capital of the Philippines is Quezon City which is in the City of Manila.
The Philippines are best known for their food,weather and climate,nature,shopping,paradise beaches,islands,the people and many more. Their currency is pesos. They go in cold pools, wear summer clothing such as singlets and shorts in summer. In the Philippines they speak three languages. They are Filipino, English and also their local dialects. Local dialects are regional or social language distinguished by pronunciation, the way in which they pronounced words, grammar, or vocabulary. There are about 78 dialects spoken by different regions, towns or provinces. Philippines are close to these countries-- China, Thailand, Japan, Korea (South), Korea (North), India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
Philippines have many problems such as poverty, traffic and pollution. These can lead to sickness, heart disease because of lack or not enough food and water. These could cause death. These things happen because they are poor and have nothing to eat, have no shelter and water and mainly because they don’t have anything. If they don’t eat and drink they will go hungry and get dehydrated. These things are serious because you see children sleeping on the streets all dirty and unclean.
Filipinos eat food such as, Adobo (meat or chicken), Bistek (Marinated schnitzel with onions) and sinigang (meat in a sour broth and soup) these are eaten with rice. As to desserts, they love to eat Ube cake (purple yam cake), ensaymada (sweet bread with ube inside and shredded cheese on top) and puto (steamed rice cake with cheese on top). Philippines is a great place to be in, even though it is burning hot!. One day, I will have a chance to go and visit there and have a taste of all their amazing and delicious food!!. But remember to bring a singlet because it is very hot.
