Mary Mackillop was born on January the 15th 1842 in Australia. Her parents were Alexander Mackillop and Flora MacDonald. She had 3 sisters and 4 brothers which is 7 siblings altogether!!!. For a living Mary was a nun. She was also Australia’s very first Saint.

Mary’s middle name is Helen. Mary Mackillop is also known as St. Mary of the cross. Mary never had a husband because she was a nun and she is married to God. Also she never had kids because she is a nun.

Mary’s uncle was Donald MacDonald. Her grandma’s name is Catherine MacDonald. Sadly Mary Mackillop died on August the 8th 1909. She died in North Sydney,Australia. “ We will miss you Mary for all that you have done”.
